School is made to school people. To tell them, teach them what to think, feel and do.

The University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos (UNO-R) was the first institution  and one of the excellent schools in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. The University was recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as an Autonomous University and Re-accredited by PAASCU.

The Information Technology was one of the newly progarm that the University offer. Information Technology was distinguised by the CHED as one of the Philippines' Information Technology Education - Centers of Development for Excellence and as the first IT education institution to be accredited in Western Visayas.

The College student life is not easy, is not like as high school life. Coming to college has become the major and challenging experience as a student. Many complain about lack of sleep, over workload and strees, but still life is pretty as good and enjoyable. Many struggles that come but still can handled it. What difficult it is, what success that we got or achieve can took the pain and struggles in life as a College student.

Be strong and always think that we got to school to learn, not quit.
